Yoga and calisthenics retreat

Granada, Spain

9th-16th June 2027

Join us in the Andalusian countryside for a retreat blending yoga, calisthenics, breathtaking mountain landscapes, and the charm of southern Spain.

Our Venue

Yoga and calisthenics retreat

Our venue, Casa Olivia, is a beautifully restored Andalusian villa nestled among olive groves in the peaceful Lecrín Valley, just outside Granada. Surrounded by panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the villa offers the perfect balance of comfort, privacy, and nature. From its bright open spaces and peaceful terraces to its pool, jacuzzi, and thoughtfully designed rooms, Casa Olivia is a place to slow down, recharge, and feel completely at home.

Granada

Granada offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes. Home to the world-famous Alhambra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city reflects centuries of Moorish influence woven into its architecture, winding streets, and vibrant atmosphere. From lively plazas and traditional tapas bars to passionate flamenco performances, Granada captures the authentic spirit of southern Spain. Surrounded by the mountains of Andalusia, it invites you to slow down, explore at your own pace, and experience a region where history, nature, and local traditions come together effortlessly.

Sierra Nevada

Sierra Nevada National Park is home to some of Spain’s most spectacular mountain scenery. Towering peaks, dramatic ridgelines, ancient forests, and peaceful valleys create a landscape unlike anywhere else in Andalusia. As one of Europe’s southernmost alpine regions, it offers breathtaking panoramic views and an incredible diversity of wildlife and nature. Whether you’re taking in the scenery from a quiet viewpoint or exploring its winding mountain trails, Sierra Nevada is a place that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the outdoors.

Why Yoga & Calisthenics?

Discover the powerful combination of yoga and calisthenics. While training together, Issy and Maxime found surprising parallels between the two—both rooted in functional movement, body awareness, and minimal equipment. Yoga enhances mobility, flexibility, and the mind-body connection, while calisthenics focuses on strength, endurance, and control.

Blending the two creates a practice that’s balanced, empowering, and deeply harmonizing—both physically and mentally. It also supports self-growth, confidence, and overcoming fear.

Best of all, yoga and calisthenics are accessible to everyone. Using only bodyweight, every movement can be adapted to any level. After years of hosting retreats across continents with participants from over 40 countries, Issy and Maxime have seen how this fusion inspires lasting transformation—on and off the mat.

Meet your hosts Issy - Max

Issy Nadee

Issy started her yoga journey after years of suffering from back pain scoliosis, causing lots of physical and mental issues. She wants to encourage people to live a healthy lifestyle through yoga, mobility and movement to enhance the joint’s mobility. Her class combines modern movements and mindfulness. She gives various modifications. She believes that ‘yoga is not about the poses, so don’t let the poses define you. We use them as a tool to connect and learn deeper within ourselves’.

Maxime Ronse

Max brings years of experience as a personal trainer specializing in calisthenics and strength training. With a deep understanding of anatomy, he excels at breaking down movements and integrating muscle groups to optimize strength, mobility, and body awareness. His expertise in calisthenics perfectly complements the yoga practice, as both disciplines share roots in bodyweight training and functional movement. His knowledge and passion for movement make him an invaluable asset to this training, providing unique insights into how strength training and mobility can enhance and deepen yoga practice.

I booked this retreat pretty last minute and honestly didn’t really know what to expect… but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Every day we moved, trained, laughed, explored, and just connected with such amazing people from all over the world. It never felt forced, everything just flowed so naturally.

I left feeling so much lighter, stronger, and just really full in the best way.

This is something I’ll remember for a long time.

So much love and gratitude to Max and Issy for creating this experience

Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Not Included In Your Package
  • Extra food and activities outside the villa
  • Flights & Airport Transfers
  • Private excursions outside the villa besides the ones we have planned for you.

The closest airport is Federico García Lorca Granada Jaén Airport (GRX), located approximately 45 kilometres from Casa Olivier. Málaga Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) is another option and usually offers a wider selection of international flights.

We can help arrange private transportation from either airport. Shortly before the retreat, we will create a WhatsApp group so participants arriving at similar times can connect and share transfers.

Casa Olivier is located in the countryside near Murchas. The final two kilometres follow a narrow rural road through farmland, and public transportation does not reach the villa. We therefore strongly recommend using one of our arranged transfers, a taxi, or a rental car. Detailed directions will be provided before arrival.

Check-in is from 3:00 pm on Wednesday, 9 June 2027.

Check-out is at 11:00 am on Wednesday, 16 June 2027.

Should you arrive earlier or need to leave later, please let us know in advance. We will confirm whether luggage storage or additional time at the villa can be accommodated.

Tipping is not obligatory in Spain because service is already included. However, it is common to leave a small tip when you are happy with the service. In restaurants, hotels, and taxis, guests sometimes leave between 5 and 10 percent.

Any gratuity for the retreat team, chef, drivers, guides, or villa staff is entirely voluntary.

Yes. Casa Olivier is equipped with air-conditioning and central heating. The villa uses an energy-efficient heat-pump system powered by solar energy to cool the house during summer and heat it during the colder months.

June in Granada is generally warm, sunny, and dry. Daytime temperatures are often around the mid to high twenties, while mornings and evenings can be considerably cooler, especially near the mountains.

We recommend bringing light clothing, sun protection, a reusable water bottle, comfortable walking shoes, and a warmer layer for the evenings and our Sierra Nevada excursion.

Yes. Every booking begins with a non refundable deposit of €500 per person. After the deposit, you can either follow our instalment plan or pay the remaining balance in full at any time.

The instalment schedule is:

1. Deposit

Amount: €500 per person
Due upon registration
This payment secures your place and is non refundable.

2. First instalment

Amount: €500 per person
Due: 7 months before the start of the retreat

3. Second instalment

Amount: €500 per person
Due: 5 months before the start of the retreat

4. Final payment

Amount: The remaining balance for your selected room
Due: 3 months before the start of the retreat

For couples or two friends booking together, each payment must cover both participants. This means that every €500 instalment becomes €1,000 for two people.

You are also welcome to pay the full remaining balance earlier instead of following the payment plan.

How can I make my payments?

You can pay either by credit card through Stripe or by bank transfer.

For credit card payments through Stripe, a 6% surcharge is added to the payment amount to cover processing costs.

Bank transfers do not have any additional fees charged by us. However, depending on your bank and country, international transfer or intermediary bank fees may apply. These costs must be covered by the sender so that we receive the full amount stated on your payment plan.

Visa requirements depend on your nationality.

Citizens of the European Union can travel to Spain with a valid national identity card or passport. Visitors from outside the European Union will need a valid passport and may require a Schengen visa, depending on their nationality.

For non-EU travellers, passports generally need to have been issued within the previous ten years and remain valid for at least three months after the planned departure from the Schengen Area. Visa-free visitors are normally limited to a maximum of 90 days within any 180-day period.

European travel requirements are changing, and some visa-exempt travellers may also need an ETIAS travel authorisation once the system becomes operational. Please check the latest official requirements for your nationality before booking your flights.

You do not need to have previous experience in yoga or calisthenics to join us. We welcome complete beginners as well as more experienced practitioners. What matters most is that you enjoy movement, have an open mind, and are genuinely willing to learn and try new things.

Issy and Maxime have thousands of hours of teaching experience and will offer different options and progressions for every exercise. Yoga poses, calisthenics movements, and mobility exercises can all be adapted to your strength, flexibility, confidence, and current level.

We are looking for enthusiastic participants who want to move, learn, and be part of the experience. You do not need to be the strongest or most flexible person in the room, but you should come with curiosity, a positive attitude, and an appreciation for movement and sport. The goal is to have fun, develop new skills, and explore what your body is capable of under professional guidance.

Spain uses the euro.

Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in Granada, particularly Visa and Mastercard. However, it is helpful to carry a small amount of cash for local markets, smaller businesses, tips, or unexpected expenses.

Casa Olivier is located in a rural area, so we recommend withdrawing any cash you may need before arriving at the villa.

By registering for this retreat, I confirm that I have read and agree to the Cancellation Policy. I understand that the €500 deposit is non-refundable and that the payment schedule applies to the room option I have selected.
